Biophys is pleased to confirm successful certification to both Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus, the UK government–backed schemes designed to reduce organisational exposure to the most prevalent internet‑borne attacks. Cyber Essentials validates our implementation of the five core technical controls (secure configuration, boundary firewalls and internet gateways, access control, malware protection, and patch management), while Cyber Essentials Plus provides independent verification through external vulnerability assessment and internal testing of our live environment.
For our customers and collaborators, particularly within regulated health and public‑sector environments, this demonstrates that Biophys’ infrastructure and operational controls align with recognised UK best practice for cyber risk management, support secure handling of sensitive data, and meet a growing number of procurement and assurance requirements that reference Cyber Essentials Plus as a baseline.
